Forensic examination of stun guns
Upon request, Rassettica can conduct a forensic examination of any variety of “stun gun” (Conducted Energy Weapon) for the purpose of certifying that it meets the criteria set out in the Criminal Code of Canada to be classified as a “prohibited weapon”. Police officers will deliver the weapon to our test lab and we will conduct a series of physical and electrical tests to characterize it. The written report, when disclosed, is often sufficient evidence for appropriate action which ensues.
